The excitement for the upcoming season of the English league is building up, as top cricketers from Pakistan gear up to participate in The Hundred draft. The likes of Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi have a reserve price of £100,000 each, while Mohammad Amir, Haris Rauf, and Naseem are listed with a reserve price of £60,000.

The Hundred draft, which will take place on March 23, will see the inclusion of notable players such as Mitchell Starc, Harmanpreet Kaur, Robin Uthappa, and Jemimah Rodrigues. The eight teams have already announced the players they have retained, with the squads set to be fleshed out at the draft.

The excitement doesn't end there, as the draft will be televised live on Sky Sports for the first time since 2019. In the women's competition, each team could only retain four players, but will be able to use one Right-To-Match (RTM) card at the draft in order to keep hold of one extra player.

Fans can expect the return of Danni Wyatt, Kate Cross, and Sophie Devine to their respective teams. Southern Brave, Manchester Originals, and Birmingham Phoenix are expected to have a strong representation in the women's competition.

The championship will kick off in August, running from August 1-27, with plenty of thrilling cricket action to look forward to. It's time to mark your calendars and get ready for an exciting season of The Hundred!
